The Houston client hired Rick Grett to re-furnish the hunting ranch, requesting that the project be completed in time for hunting season. With the short timeline, the designer used local sources to provide all of the furnishings, including bedcoverings, table lamps, and area rugs.

​Glazed leather, geometric pattern textiles, and various metals were introduced to soften the existing knotty pine walls and ceiling. Rainforest granite, blue limestone, copper, and zinc tops added some color to the interiors, as well as the earth toned simple geometric wool rugs.
